Anonymous employee survey as valuation basis
The federal Great Place to Work competition “Best Employers in the Federal State of Hesse”, which took place for the first time, will be organised on an annual basis in the future. The umbrella competition is the nationwide competition “Germany’s Best Employers” which is organised annually since 2002. The valuation basis for the award was an anonymous employee survey regarding central workplace topics such as trust in executive managers, identification with the company, professional development opportunities, compensation, health promotion and work-life balance. In addition, the quality of the measures of HR and leadership work has been assessed. Companies of all sizes and sectors took part in the surveys regarding the quality and attractiveness of the workplace culture in orders to be evaluated by the independent Great Place to Work institute.
“The award stands for a credible management which collaborates with its employees in a fair and respectful way, for a high identification of the employees as well as a strong team spirit within the company,” explains Andreas Schubert, CEO at Great Place to Work Germany during the award ceremony.
