Siegburg/Leipzig, May 7, 2020: With its Telco Solutions & Services competence center, valantic (www.valantic.com) establishes a new knowledge hub for the telecommunications industry as of April 1, 2020. With this, the digital solutions, consulting, and software company will focus still more on the needs and desires of customers in the telecommunications industry.
Many companies in the telecommunications sector have selected valantic in the compliance sector in recent years. valantic has helped these customers plan and implement their digitalization strategy with regard to legal requirements arising from the German telecommunications act (TKG).
The increasing share of customers in this sector was an important reason why valantic wanted to transfer its business activities in the telecommunications sector to its own competence center with locations in Siegburg and Leipzig. With the newly established valantic Telco Solutions & Services GmbH, valantic’s growth strategy is being pursued further.
As previously, the service portfolio of valantic Telco Solution & Services GmbH includes solutions and services for telecommunications companies that are obliged to assist criminal prosecution authorities in Germany with the prevention of criminal acts or to determine the perpetrators in case of justified suspicions.
“Even today, valantic’s services are utilized by many small and medium-sized telecommunications companies. Therefore, we work with our customers to make an important contribution to the security of our country,” says Roland Martinez, Managing Director at valantic, who is responsible for the company’s new Telco Solutions & Services Competence Center, about the company’s mission.
Telecommunications companies in Germany are legally obligated to assist investigating authorities quickly and digitally. With regard to especially severe criminal offenses and based on a judge’s order, it must be possible to monitor telecommunications. The legal requirements for telecommunications companies are set out in the German Telecommunications Act (TKG).
valantic offers state-of-the-art IT solutions and services for telecommunications compliance. This way, the required tasks can be performed according to the regulations, either by customers themselves or by valantic as certified agent. valantic’s new Authority Information System (cAIS) for various informational procedures enables digital handling of these requirements.
valantic’s solutions for providing information and telecommunications monitoring are already implemented at many companies, either locally (on-premise) or via secure cloud services, among other things as Software as a Service (SaaS). This reduces costs for telecommunications companies that are obliged to react to authorities’ inquiries and it enables them to focus on their core business, such as building new fiber optic or 5G network infrastructures. On request, valantic will also take over the relevant informational and monitoring processes, which are performed based on strict security requirements monitored by the German Federal Network Agency (BnetzA).
“Of course our telecommunications customers can also access the other resources in valantic’s broad portfolio. For the telecommunications sector, I am thinking especially of the topics customer experience for inspiring customer journeys via all customer channels and 360 degree SAP consulting and implementation,” says Roland Martinez.
