Munich, September 26, 2024: Guido Schlief is joining the management team of the digital consulting, solutions, and software house valantic as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Partner with immediate effect. Besides his role as CCO, Schlief will also support the management team of valantic’s SAP division. With many years’ experience in this field, the 52-year-old was previously himself a manager at Europe’s largest software company SAP SE, most recently as head of SAP’s consulting business for the Middle & Eastern Europe region.
In the newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer, Guido Schlief will help strengthen valantic’s position as a leading end-to-end provider of digital transformation solutions, while driving the organizational development of one of Europe’s fastest-growing digital consultancies. At the same time, Schlief will join Karsten Ötschmann and Jürgen Muth in leading valantic’s SAP division, now over 1,000 employees strong, drawing on his nearly three decades of leadership experience at SAP SE.

Schlief most recently served as Head of the Cloud Success Organization for the Middle & Eastern Europe region at SAP SE and, as Senior Vice President, as a member of the Senior Executive Team. In this capacity, he had organizational oversight for approximately 3,500 employees. Before this role, Schlief held various management positions at SAP SE, including on the Executive Boards of SAP Germany and SAP Switzerland, where he was responsible for software sales organizations.
