Munich, March 23, 2023: Uwe Tüben joins the digital solutions, consulting and software house valantic. The successful manager and growth expert looks back on more than 20 years of experience in the areas of customer experience and digital experience consulting. Uwe Tüben extends the management team of valantic’s CX division with immediate effect where, as a Partner and Managing Director, and together with his CX colleagues in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands, he will vigorously develop valantic’s customer experience business.
The international digitalization, consulting and software house valantic continues to grow strongly and is forecasting annual revenues of €500 million for fiscal 2023(e) with a total of around 3,500 employees. Alongside valantic’s Partners and the other members of the valantic management board, Uwe Tüben immediately assumes a central role in shaping the company’s growth course and leading valantic to further success.
Before joining valantic, Uwe Tüben held a range of challenging management positions and is widely recognized for the growth of the companies he managed. In his last position as managing director of the digital agency Valtech, he was key to the revenue leap from €20 million (2013) to €95 million (2021). With an unrelenting focus on common business goals and KPIs, his key skills include the successful integration of new business units and companies, as well as team alignment. Prior to Valtech, Uwe Tüben worked for ten years in various management positions for Sapient – now Publicis Sapient.
Uwe Tüben describes himself as a staunch proponent of the so-called “purpose-driven school of thinking”. Mutual respect in dealing with others, trust, transparency and the highest levels of integrity are essential qualities for him and entirely in line with the valantic values – values that, when exemplified by top management, give each employee a sense of support and value, and enhance their loyalty and commitment to the company.
Effective customer management and a smooth customer experience (CX) are top priorities for many companies in their battle for markets and market share. Together with his colleagues, Uwe Tüben will continue to forge ahead with valantic’s growth strategy, leverage synergies, optimize cooperation between valantic’s Competence Centers, and thereby further consolidate valantic’s positioning in the CX/DXS market.
“I’m 100% convinced by how entrepreneurial values are lived at valantic and are consistent with a one-firm philosophy,” says Uwe Tüben, new Managing Director and Partner of valantic CEC Germany. “Partnering companies and organizations end-to-end as they transition to become digitalized businesses not only requires a deep understanding of the user and customer perspective; it is just as important to understand their business models and the adjacent processes – this is vital to driving digitalization forward at all levels and in all departments. In contrast to many of its market competitors, valantic can seamlessly combine business consulting with CX, IT infrastructure and the ERP world.”
Reto Rutz, Head of valantic’s CX Division and Managing Director and Partner of valantic CEC Switzerland, adds, “valantic is well on the way to becoming the most respected digital consultancy in Europe. We have ambitious goal that we want to realize together with our customers. For this reason, we need the best minds in the market: true entrepreneurs who deliver outstanding performance for our customers, and at the same time have their hearts in the right place.”
Besides Uwe Tüben, valantic CEC Germany has also announced two further new top management appointments: Patrick Habel joins valantic from the full-service agency Merkle and has been appointed to the newly created position of Director Customer Engagement. As a member of the management team, the 47-year-old will strengthen valantic’s central customer management and holistic consulting philosophy. In his new role, Patrick Habel will be able to exploit over 20 years’ experience in consulting and managing customers in the midmarket and enterprise segments.
Vanessa Belstler has also joined the management team as new Business Area Manager for Digital Experience Platforms. The 39-year-old e-commerce expert joins valantic from digital service provider diva-e, where she was Head of SAP Solutions. Her work at valantic will focus on various digital experience platforms for the enterprise segment.
