Munich, August 4, 2020: The SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) specialist PROC-IT becomes valantic people on August 1, 2020. Just about a year ago, PROC-IT, which specializes in SAP HCM HR accounting, time management, and services, joined the digital solutions, consulting, and software company valantic (www.valantic.com). With 1,100 employees and annual revenue of approximately EUR 160 million, valantic is one of the top IT consulting and implementation companies in German-speaking Europe. In addition to its proven expertise with HR software solutions, valantic people’s customers will profit especially from comprehensive advising and valantic’s expanded solution portfolio.

In the course of the name change, the former PROC-IT will be integrated more tightly into the valantic world. The step is more than just a name change, as Thomas Schwarz, Partner and Managing Director at valantic, who is responsible for the Competence Center valantic people, explains: “Just about a year ago, we entered into this partnership, and in retrospect I can say: Everything that we promised ourselves from this merger has come true on all levels. The new name valantic people is the next logical step toward the ‘one brand’ strategy. Under the name valantic people, we will appear as part of a whole. This way, our customers will be able to profit even more from the expertise and resources of the whole group, and, for example, take advantage of new technologies such as voice-controlled chatbots and artificial intelligence (AI) in the HR space.”  

HCM specialist for HR accounting and time management

The HR specialists deploy their expertise not just for advising and implementation around the SAP HCM Suite and complementary HR solutions; they assume complete responsibility for support, application management, and change management. valantic people is extremely well-positioned for the future, for the former PROC-IT now has both the expertise and the structures to better handle a broader spectrum of SAP-specific topics. “In recent years, new challenges have arisen; for example, in the area of SAP S/4HANA, which we as a small firm cannot handle, but as part of the valantic Group we can,” explains Thomas Schwarz. The Managing Director has ambitious plans: “Our goal is clear: With valantic people, we want to be number one for SAP HCM services in German-speaking Europe.”
