The digital consulting, solutions and software company valantic is strengthening its positioning in the future-oriented field of sustainable supply chain and purchasing optimization. With the management consultancy HÖVELER HOLZMANN, the valantic family has now gained an experienced interdisciplinary team of 100 experts who specialize in sustainably improving their customers’ value chains. In doing so, they focus on strategic consulting to optimize the organization, process and system landscapes, as well as the cost structures of their customers – from inbound order handling, and the purchasing, production and logistics processes to invoicing.

HÖVELER HOLZMANN serves a broad spectrum of customers, ranging from medium-sized companies to DAX corporations. In doing so, the consultancy uses its highly diversified industry expertise to cover a large number of industries and market segments. At Swiss retail group Coop, for example, it helped identify cost-cutting opportunities by optimizing the purchasing of selected product groups. For Deutsche Bahn AG, on the other hand, it sustainably optimized processes by industrializing and digitalizing the purchasing department, thereby boosting working efficiency. And at Rotkäppchen-Mumm, it implemented a new supply chain organization and introduced organizational processes to further develop the sparkling wine maker’s supply chain management and to boost profitability.
HÖVELER HOLZMANN was founded by Dr. Bernhard Höveler and Florian Holzmann back in 2011. Already then, they looked back on a long and experienced track record in the fields of supply chain management and purchasing, and have been acting as Managing Partners ever since. Before founding the company, Dr. Bernhard Höveler was a managing partner of a purchasing consultancy and project manager for procurement optimization at consultancy A.T. Kearney. Florian Holzmann came from IBM Global Business Services, where he gained extensive expertise in the fields of Strategy & Change and Extended Supply Chain Management. Also on the HÖVELER HOLZMANN Management Board is Daniel Belka, who previously worked as Head of Procurement at Metro Group, as well as at REWE Group and Lidl.
