Munich, July 10, 2024: With the support of digital consulting, solutions, and software house valantic, the fashion brand OLYMP from Bietigheim-Bissingen near Stuttgart is positioning itself for the future with a newly designed online store. valantic’s full-scale redesign and implementation of a flexible headless architecture have transformed OLYMP’s digital flagship store into a central medium for brand communication, enabling seamless, personalized shopping experiences across all channels. This modernization of the B2C store aligns with OLYMP’s long-term goals of increasing website traffic, improving conversion rates, and boosting sales opportunities.
The garment manufacturer OLYMP turned to the digital consulting, solutions, and software house valantic in its search to create a cohesive brand experience with optimal customer interactions across all devices and digital touchpoints.
“By realigning our B2C store, we have adopted a holistic approach to provide existing and prospective target groups with a consistent brand experience. With the redesign, our online store not only benefits from a modern, brand-tailored design but also animates through a user-friendly, emotionally engaging customer journey across all devices,” explains Hendrik Reuter, Director E-Commerce & Customer Relations at OLYMP.
Besides the redesign, the project also took the omnichannel strategy and prospective roll-out to other OLYMP sales markets into account.
“Adaptability and flexibility are more important than ever, especially in a highly competitive market such as the fashion industry. The headless architecture provides OLYMP with a future-proof e-commerce solution to further expand its digital sales and strengthen its D2C activities. The new frontend offers enormous potential for enhancements and innovation. For instance, the integration of AI features for personalized communication and intelligent purchase recommendations are entirely feasible and would be easy to implement,” says Dr Maximilian John, Solution Architect at valantic.
Beyond maintaining the store system, valantic will spearhead the ongoing development of the architecture. Current discussions include migrating the B2C store to the cloud, developing a further store for the Swiss market, and integrating new features such as additional payment options.
“The initial situation and objectives of this project required the combined know-how and tightly integrated collaboration of various expert teams. The project’s success highlights the added value of a digitalization partner that combines different expert fields with specialized skills and experience to tackle complex projects end-to-end, including in omnichannel retail. We are proud to have contributed to OLYMP’s holistic brand experience and look forward to supporting this strong brand in its future strategic and technological development,” summarizes Carolin Reutter, Project Manager at valantic.
