Completely digital: the MyTriflex customer portal
For over 40 years, Triflex has been synonymous with innovative technologies and outstanding expertise in the fields of waterproofing, coating and marking. To get even closer to its customers, the company wanted a MyTriflex portal that would provide digital services along the entire value chain. One challenge was the integration of the existing SAP infrastructure and its connection to the online store based on Adobe Commerce. The valantic team worked closely with Triflex on the implementation, always taking into account the target group and the product portfolio.
With more than 40 years of experience, Triflex is the leading specialist in Europe for PMMA liquid plastics as well as waterproofing and coating systems. The family-owned company pursues a holistic approach and acts in conjunction with high-quality products, committed employees, specialized experts and planners. Triflex takes its responsibility towards the environment seriously and has firmly anchored sustainability in its principles. Sustainable action therefore goes far beyond mere compliance with legal requirements.
Triflex aimed to merge the digital sales and information processes into a central B2B self-service platform. The aim was to improve efficiency for both customers and the internal sales team. The platform was to be introduced in the German market in the first stage of the project – with the prospect of gradually opening it up to international customers.
Several workshops were held to set the course for the future digital customer portal and the integration of the existing SAP infrastructure. In this context, the teams opted for an MVP approach in order to achieve a fast market entry, gain valuable customer feedback and create the basis for expansions and internationalization.
Taking Triflex’s requirements into account, the valantic team implemented a customized e-commerce platform with a focus on the B2B target group. Adobe Commerce was used as a flexible and scalable system, which ensured seamless integration with the other systems thanks to the composable commerce approach.

Increasing customer proximity
The platform was consistently geared towards the needs of the target group to increase customer proximity. The basis for this was provided by detailed target group interviews, which were conducted prior to the design and implementation.
Digitalization of important sales processes
The optimization and digitalization of business-critical sales processes not only increased efficiency, but also relieved the internal sales team.
Technically stable basis
The platform provides a technically stable basis for a future internationalization strategy and opens up additional sales potential through expanded market opportunities.
