  • As an Analyst (all genders) Corporate Development / M&A at valantic, you will be deeply involved in shaping strategic initiatives that support valantic's dynamic growth
  • You get to understand corporate development holistically, i.e. prepare buy-versus-build decisions for key decision makers such as C-Level Management as well as Investment Committee and actively implement these through targeted acquisitions, building up new companies or hiring teams
  • You will participate in implementing end-to-end M&A processes (we look at >100 companies every year) – from the initial analysis and evaluation of a market or company in terms of business potential and strategic fit with valantic, through company valuations and financial modeling, to supporting due diligence and contract negotiations
  • You will support the creation of internal strategic discussion materials as well as supporting internal initiatives to build out organic growth areas (including market analysis, definition of an operating model, creation & validation of a business plan)
  • You will conduct thorough analyses of market data and business models, focusing on IT market trends like Digitalization, GenAI, Big Data, IoT, and CX, thereby providing actionable insights and recommendations
  • Your role involves crafting detailed financial models and conducting valuation analysis, ensuring that each project you touch aligns strategically with broader business goals
  • Moreover, you will be in regular contact with valantic's key decision-makers to present and discuss strategic decision-making proposals.

What distinguishes you

  • Your academic background in business studies, either at a Bachelor or Master’s level, sets a solid foundation for the complex analysis required in this role
  • You bring 2-3 internships worth of experience from relevant fields such as strategy consulting, private equity, investment banking, or corporate development
  • You have a keen interest in IT market dynamics and emerging technologies, accompanied by a proven ability to synthesize and analyze large datasets
  • Your reliability, curiosity, and high degree of teamwork make you a valued team player who contributes to an empathetic and supportive work environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of adapting to new challenges and learning on the fly round up your profile
  • You are willing to travel and speak fluent German and English
