Composable Commerce

Composable Commerce describes an innovative development approach for e-commerce. From a technical perspective, it enables companies to integrate best-of-breed applications into a tailored ecosystem that meets specific business requirements. Composable Commerce architectures are characterized by modularity, scalability, and flexibility. Unlike traditional, monolithic legacy infrastructures, the components of the Composable Tech Stack communicate via APIs. These API-based services can be easily updated, modified, and exchanged, allowing a Composable Architecture to quickly adapt to changing customer market demands, target audiences, locations, products, and touchpoints. Companies are not tied to any specific vendor and can offer seamless, dynamic, and coherent experiences across all channels.
