What motivates you?
Seeing happy and satisfied customers is a source of immense fulfillment and joy for me. I am also passionate about conveying, explaining, and presenting my areas of expertise to foster understanding and facilitate informed decisions. Helping companies navigate swiftly through crises or, better still, avoid them in the first place brings me great pleasure. In a nutshell, I am a service provider through and through.

Thomas, in what way does valantic differ from other consultancies?
I cherish the people and their camaraderie, genuineness, and humaneness – values they uphold despite, or perhaps precisely because of, the demanding workloads. I often tell job applicants that, while not everyone here is my closest friend, I would happily meet up with every one of them after work, if only to take home a wealth of fascinating new impressions and insights at the end of the day. At valantic, we are not clones or anonymous faces in a crowd; we are a diverse group of magnificent, highly skilled professionals driven to deliver our very best for our customers.

What makes valantic special for you?
After my experience at a large consultancy in the early 2000s, I swore never to join another big company. However, valantic changed my mind. The super colleagues who work here make a decisive difference for me every day.

What do you like most about being part of valantic?
To develop and advance my specialist field, while having the freedom and opportunities of a dynamic scale-up, combined with being part of a supportive organization that not only views this development with sincerity but actively promotes and supports it.

What do you like most about your work?
The moment when a client become a friend can happen naturally on a professional level when a satisfied customer forges an allegiance between companies. But it is also not uncommon for friendships to develop between individuals as a result of trusting cooperation.

How would you sum up valantic in three sentences?
For me, valantic represents a union of companies that can achieve far more together than individually. What is special is that we recognize and promote each competence center’s value. We are so successful because we are who we are, not because we are who others want us to be.

What are your responsibilities at valantic?
I became a Partner at valantic in October 2022 and am responsible for the IT Security & Data Protection division.

What did you do before coming to valantic?
Before joining valantic, I founded several companies in the service industry, accumulating 20 years of IT experience, including 15 years in consulting.
