Managing Director, valantic Division Financial Services Automation
“The financial services industry is continuously seeking visionary ideas for gaining the competitive edge. Providing this impetus is our lodestar. valantic Division Financial Services Automation is dedicated to digitalizing, extending, and evolving the financial landscape. In an age marked by constant change and technological innovation, my number one mission is challenging traditional strategies and pioneering new avenues.”
Philipp, what exactly does your motto “Inspiring the financial services industry” mean?
The days when customers merely referred to contractors as “suppliers” or “service providers” are hopefully behind us. Today, our relationships with customers constitute far more than simply a “business transaction”; we collaborate as partners within a dynamic ecosystem that melds people, services, and software—whether in the cloud, on-premise, or through managed services. To adeptly navigate this complexity, valantic draws on its decades of expertise in service-oriented IT and business architectures. In doing so, the transition to the cloud is a crucial milestone in this evolution.
In times where agility and scalability are critical to adapting to a dynamic market, the cloud offers unprecedented opportunities. It allows businesses to manage resources flexibly, expedite innovation, and optimize costs. At valantic, we aim to lead this transformation by combining cutting-edge technological know-how with a deep understanding of our customers’ unique business needs.
What is your role within the valantic Financial Services Automation (FSA) division?
The Managing Directors of valantic Financial Services Automation share the many tasks that modern management places on us. My role is overseeing the division’s cloud business activities. This involves transitioning our clients’ trading systems to a SaaS model and assuming responsibility for a smooth implementation process. I am dedicated to continually refining our processes, our guiding star being the efficient, factory-like operation of hybrid infrastructures.
