What are you passionate about?

For decades, I have been passionate about the tangible implementation of digitalization initiatives. I am driven by distinguishing between hype and genuine value for companies and their organization. The ability to recognize this distinction is the real project challenge and definitive of a truly proficient consulting partner.

What is the focus of your work at valantic?

I advise and support companies—principally in the food, consumer goods, and chemical/pharmaceutical industries—with their SAP projects, including many prominent brand manufacturers. In doing so, I mainly focus on developing IT solutions for complex logistics challenges.

What motivates you?

I do not need extra motivation because I genuinely enjoy my work. Satisfied customers, effective processes, and motivated colleagues are all the motivation I need. The unique atmosphere at valantic plays an important role here. I value our flat hierarchies, the opportunities for personal and professional growth, the long tenure of our employees, our extensive range of digitalization services, and the strong, sometimes over 20-year, relationships with our customers whom we partner with to achieve their goals.

Hartmut, what did you do before valantic?

After studying Business Informatics, I specialized in global planning-data management and the associated IT solutions at an international chemical company. In 2000, I joined Realtime AG, now valantic ERP Consulting, where I have been part of the management team since 2012.
