Managing Director, valantic Division SAP Services
“I strive to live by this personal motto in all situations. For me, this means approaching life enthusiastically and maintaining an open, tolerant mind toward others and their ideas. I also view myself as goal-oriented, pragmatic, and emotionally perceptive.”
What do you do at valantic?
I have two main responsibilities at valantic. Firstly, as Head of People & Culture in the SAP division, I oversee all aspects of employee development, including creating tailored development paths, managing training, recruiting, and overall personnel management. Secondly, I manage large SAP transformation projects for our clients, overseeing every phase from acquisition to successful go-live.
What do you like most about working at valantic?
Without a doubt: the people! Many colleagues have been with me for years, fostering deep friendships and a strong sense of trust. Also, new employees’ diverse experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives have profoundly influenced my personal development.
What motivates you?
Everyone eventually identifies where they draw their energy from. In my case, it is working closely with my fellow team members and colleagues. I thrive on getting projects rolling, implementing them, motivating others, and celebrating our successes together. That is where my passion lies, and I choose my tasks specifically with these ends in mind.
Guido, where did you work before joining valantic?
After studying Business Administration and Political Science, I honed my skills as a consultant at international consulting firms. After that, I teamed up with Rüdiger Hoffmann and Uli Müller to co-found LINKIT Consulting—now part of valantic ERP Consulting—where I serve as one of the Managing Directors.
