Partner & Managing Director, valantic Division Digital Strategy & Analytics
What do you like most about being a part of valantic?
I like that valantic has a clear vision for our future as a company. We want to become “the most respected consulting and solutions brand for digitization” in the European market. We underpin this goal with a binding set of core values that guide us inside and outside the company.
Gabriel, how does this framework of core values manifest itself in practice?
For our customers, being “most respected” means they seek our advice, value our opinions, and appreciate our help. valantic’s value proposition to the outside world is that we get the job done. We build workable digital products, design exceptional services, and prepare organizations for the impact of emerging technologies. Our customers can depend on us for that.
How do the company’s core values manifest themselves inside the company?
Internally, our culture is rooted in appreciation. We take care not to impose our ways on others but, rather, encourage our colleagues to pursue their own ideas. We also create an environment where wonderful people collaborate, united in the conviction that they can achieve more together than they could ever do individually.
How would you best describe valantic?
valantic is driven by entrepreneurship, by people who have founded their own companies and understand how to scale business models. People who are now all pulling together to build a digital champion. In this sense, we are driven by an overriding perception of our responsibility to advance digitalization together across Europe. We are convinced valantic can make a meaningful impact in doing this.
What are you passionate about?
I draw great pleasure from working with others to build and create, whether at work or in my personal life. I am passionate about realizing projects and ideas with likeminded people who share the same goals and visions.
What is the main focus of your work at valantic?
At valantic, I work with Volker Scholz, as co-manager of mm1’s Mobility Practice which incorporates our entire automotive and rail business. In my role as a corporate officer, I am the CFO of the mm1 Group and also play a strategic management role for mm1 in Austria, where I work closely with Alexios Seibt.
What did you do before joining valantic?
I joined mm1 in 2013 and became an mm1 Equity Partner from 2014 until it merged with valantic in 2022. Before mm1, I spent around 10 years running my own specialist consultancy for the telecommunications sector whose operating business I took with me when I joined mm1. I began my career at Kearney immediately after completing my studies, so my professional experience is rooted in strategic consulting.
