What motivates you?
In each project, I am driven by the challenge of identifying the core issues faced by our customers and distinguishing between the symptoms and root causes of these problems. What excites me is then to identify a smart, feasible solution that sustainably resolves these problems in the given situation, and to reliably implement it for our customers with an fair balance between cost and performance. I enjoy helping our customers solve problems they wouldn’t have been able to overcome alone, and thus make a meaningful difference in their success. Ultimately, it is our partners’ appreciation of the value contribution that motivates me always to give 110% and gives me a great deal of pleasure in my work as a consultant.

In what way does valantic differ from other consultancies?
The personal connections, comradely solidarity, uncompromising reliability, and outstanding quality in our work. We deliver high-quality results that help our customers effectively and efficiently, providing them with tangible added value.

What is so special for you about valantic?
Due to our stellar growth and the sheer size of the company, valantic is becoming a melting pot where more and more personalities are coming together. Our company is benefiting from this valuable diversity, while simultaneously maintaining a strong alignment in our core values – such as quality, genuineness, and dependability. At valantic, we are all entrepreneurs working for entrepreneurs.

What do you like most about being part of valantic?
Initially, I never actually wanted to be a consultant because I considered it an (excessively) abstract profession, with insufficient hands-on impact and responsibility. However, my experience at valantic Management Consulting has shown me that a (skilled!) consultant can contribute enormously to achieving a project’s strategic and operational goals. Moreover, as a Partner and Managing Director at valantic, I can simultaneously pursue my entrepreneurial passion, while having a direct impact with extensive responsibilities.
I greatly value the culture and positive, respectful manner present in the partner team. Many companies lack such an atmosphere. I immediately feel on the same wavelength with everyone, even if we haven’t met personally, and that we share a common cultural understanding: we stand together and challenge each other respectfully and constructively, the goals being always to deliver high-quality projects to our customers and steer valantic as a whole in the right direction.

What do find especially enjoyable about your work?
Even after almost 20 years, our dynamic project environments mean that I still find new challenges and joy in my work – especially when, as on many occasions, our high-quality work forges long-term relationships with our customers and sustainably solve their problems. I used to think that that wasn’t possible as a consultant, but have since learned otherwise, namely that my role lets me make a decisive difference for many companies every year. I also always enjoy meeting new people. I value our team, love the team spirit, and – despite our rapid growth – take pride in preserving the core of our unique culture, even though it’s becoming an ever-increasing challenge.
In short: it is the people, the culture, and the challenges in the projects which energize me.

Daniel, how would you sum up valantic in three sentences?
At valantic, our top priorities are outstanding quality, dependability, and comradely solidarity. We deliver impactful solutions that truly benefit our customers. Despite having many colleagues from different cultures and backgrounds, we maintain a unique, pleasant, and appreciative culture and a workforce united by shared values.

What are your responsibilities at valantic?
I became a partner at valantic in October 2022 where I am responsible for Information and Technology Management Consulting at valantic Management Consulting GmbH.

What did you do before coming to valantic?
After beginning my professional career at a medium-sized systems house and working as an entrepreneur in the e-commerce sector, I joined valantic Management Consulting in 2007, shortly after completing my studies.
